On Thursday, November 5 at North Seattle College, the Puget Sound Career Development Association will be hosting Washington State Regional Labor Economist, Anneliese Vance-Sherman, Ph.D.  Ms. Vance-Sherman will be offering her near and long-term outlook for the post-recession labor market in the Puget Sound Region.  Career development and human resource professionals who wish to be current on this topic as well as employers who are looking for guidance for their future growth initiatives will want to attend.  A question and answer session will follow the presentation. 


When: 

Networking begins at 6pm; the program will run from 6:30 to 8pm.  Light appetizers will be provided.

Anneliese Vance-Sherman is the labor market economist covering Island, King, San Juan, Skagit, Snohomish and Whatcom Counties for the Employment Security Department (ESD). She has been with ESD for five years. Prior to state service, Anneliese was a visiting fellow at the Border Policy Research Institute at Western Washington University and taught courses in Economics, Geography and Management. She has a Ph.D. in Economic Geography and a Master’s Degree in Economics both from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
