The meetup will provide an opportunity to network with others within the Central Washington region and to discuss the possibility of organizing a regional chapter under the Washington Career Development Association. Light refreshments will be provided.

From a quick overview of the profile basics, to a technical dive into online job seeker strategies and online community management, this short LinkedIn webinar is intended to provide an introduction to LinkedIn best practice suggestions for job seekers and career developers alike. Learn tips and tricks to build your brand, how to maximize your LinkedIn account SEO, and how you can help promote an active career online community or network for your campus or client community.

Webinar presenter, Ian Morris, is webmaster for the WCDA and works in the Career Services office of Central Washington University as Program Coordinator of the Wildcat Career Network. He has a Master of Education from UC Riverside with an emphasis in Educational Sociology and Motivation Theory; a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and Global Studies from UC Santa Barbara;  is a Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), and has 6+ years of experience in career advising and hiring manager roles.
