You're invited to join the Washington Career Development Association' s upcoming lunchtime webinar, "Beat the Bots" with Amanda Ostrove of JobScan on Tuesday, April 30, 2019 from Noon to 1pm.
Beat The Bots:
As a member or WCDA, you're likely familiar with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) -- but do you know enough to ensure that your clients won't get filtered out by these systems when they apply for a job online? Jobscan's Business Development and University Partnerships Manager, Amanda Ostrove, will dive into Jobscan's ATS & The Fortune 500 Report. She'll highlight how many Fortune 500 companies are using ATS today, which ATS are on the rise, and which ATS tend to be used by particular industries. She'll also show you how Jobscan is using Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence to ensure that jobseeker resumes are ATS compliant.
Make sure your students and clients aren't in the 70% of resumes that are never seen by recruiters. Companies use robots. So should you.
About Jobscan:

Jobscan, an AI-based web service that helps jobseekers and students land 3x more interviews. Our suite includes resume, cover letter and LinkedIn profile optimization tools. When Founder and CEO James Hu found himself on the job hunt in 2013, he discovered that the powerful portals companies were using for hiring were simply parsing, ranking, and filtering resumes with an algorithm based on keywords. Knowing that he’d have to carefully tailor his resume for each application in order to be noticed, he built Jobscan from scratch to automate the process. Now Jobscan is not just helping one job seeker, but hundreds of thousands by giving them the power of large applicant tracking systems before they apply to their dream jobs. Jobscan is still young but growing rapidly in our hometown of Seattle, WA.
Jobscan is also partnered with dozens of universities across the U.S. to help their career centers scale their impact. Learn more about Jobscan for Universities here.
